Supported Internships: 16 - 25

Lingfield Supported Internships provision is delivered at Lingfield (Coulby Newham)

The programme is designed to engage with students who for whatever reason are not quite ready for the employment market.   We give them the opportunity to look at a vocational area that they might be interested in and deliver vocational and employability skills to assist them into the employment market usually in the form of Apprenticeships.

To apply to the programme you need to hold an Educational Health Care Plan.   They also need to be between 16 - 25 years old and have left secondary school and not be 25 before the 1st August within that calendar year.

We offer the following:
• Work placement
• Dedicated support as needed
• Vocational Qualification & Vocational Placements
• Employability Qualification
• Personal and Social Development Qualification
• All of which are tailored to the individual.

The programme is 12 months in duration and all participants will get a work placement. This is a government funded programme.

Bursaries are available depending on several different factors, this is explained when enquires are made.   However for bursary to be paid they have to have their own bank account.

A 26 week programme (that can be extended depending on need) to get a student up to and ready for work.   This could be through Apprenticeship route or direct employment or onto additional training.
