Lingfield Choosing Pathways Supported Internships 16 - 24

The supported internship programme is delivered by Middlesbrough Community Learning service over two sights, Lingfield Choosing Pathways @ Coulby Newham and Middlesbrough Community Learning centre in Acklam, Middlesbrough.

Lingfield Supported Internships programme is designed to engage with students who for whatever reason are not quite ready for the employment market and can support them to get some work experience/vocational placements and enhance their chances in the employment market by developing their employability skills and English and Math. All this should enhance their potential in the employment market or increase confidence to go into further training.

To apply to the programme you need to have an Educational Health Care Plan. They also need to be between 16 - 24 years old and have left secondary school and not be 24 before the 1st August within that calendar year.

We offer the following:
• Work placement
• Math & English
• Dedicated support as needed
• Vocational Qualification & Vocational Placements
• Employability Qualification
• Preparation for Adulthood & Personal and Social Development All of which are tailored to the individual.

The programme is 12 months in duration and is term time only

Bursaries are available depending on several different factors, this is explained when enquires are made. However for bursary to be paid they have to have a bank account.
